Woodlands Lawn Pros

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Same morning, every week. Sharp blade, height set for shade or full sun, and the walks blown clean before we leave.

Weekly mowing on a fixed day. Cut height tuned for the lot — taller for the St. Augustine on shaded Woodlands lots under the pine canopy, lower for Bermuda on full-sun front yards in Sterling Ridge or Creekside. Edges done every visit, beds blown out, walks and drives cleared. Same truck, same crew, same morning.

  • Edging & Trimming

Crisp blade-edged borders along beds, walks, and drives — and string-trim around fences, mailboxes, and tree rings.

Power-edged borders that hold a clean line for the full week, careful trim work around obstacles a mower cannot reach, and a final blower pass so nothing carries over to the patio, the cart path, or the street.

  • Bed Maintenance

Hand-pull weeds, prune at the right time, and keep the front beds at Township-acceptable curb appeal.

Hand-pulled weeds (no glyphosate near edible beds unless you ask), pruning timed to each plant rather than the calendar, and a fresh mulch top-up every spring to keep moisture in and weeds suppressed. The Woodlands DSC notices when beds get neglected — we keep yours off the covenant-letter list.

  • Pine & Leaf Cleanup

Pine straw and live-oak leaf drop — bagged, hauled, and your beds blown out, year-round if you live under the canopy.

The Woodlands canopy means pine needles every month and live-oak leaf drop in late winter. Full-property cleanup pass, bagged or hauled, with beds blown out, gutters cleared from the ground, and the cart path cleared for whoever is biking past on Saturday morning.

  • Mulch Refresh

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the right depth so the beds look fresh and the weeds give up.

Bulk-delivered mulch hand-spread to a consistent 2 to 3 inches around plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it needs it. Color matched to the home and to what the village reads as appropriate — dyed black for darker brick on Alden Bridge, natural hardwood for the cedar-and-stone homes in Sterling Ridge.

  • Hedge & Shrub Trimming

Boxwoods, hollies, ligustrums — shaped clean and sized so they don’t crowd the walkway or the windows.

Seasonal hedge work timed to the plant. Spring shaping after the first flush, summer maintenance trims to keep size in check, fall cut-back where it matters. Cleanup is part of the job, not a separate visit.

  • Sod Repair & Install

Patch the bald spots under the pines, or lay fresh St. Augustine on a shaded side yard that Bermuda gave up on.

We match grass type to light. Most Woodlands lots take St. Augustine on shaded sides and Bermuda on full-sun fronts — laying the wrong species under the canopy is why so many yards have a dead patch by August. Soil prep, light grading, fresh sod laid in a brick pattern with tight seams, rolled in, and a printed watering schedule for the first three weeks.

Starts at $750 · per visit

  • Seasonal Fertilization

Pre-emergent in late winter, slow-release nitrogen in spring, iron + potassium for summer color — timed to North Houston turf.

A real fertilization calendar built for the Spring/Woodlands area, not a generic four-bag plan. Pre-emergent in late winter to stop crabgrass and Poa annua. Slow-release nitrogen at green-up. Iron + potassium in the heat so St. Augustine holds color without burning. Winterizer in October to harden roots.

Starts at $65 · per visit

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
